Our security model for "secure remote access" avoids the need to establish a direct network connection between a mobile device and the host computer/network.
This avoids the need for extensive firewall or network-layer security as no persistent connections are used. It also addresses the concerns associated with mobile device theft as no data or security credentials are cached on the device.
Simplexo will always work towards as universal an audience as possible. Our SearchYourCloud pilot product is already available on iOS devices and Windows desktop, with Android coming next in the coming months.
Our patent-pending data mapping and de-duplication methodology provides the means to connect to a wide variety of repositories using open standards protocols such as ODBC, JDBC, Web services, Webdav etc.
Unlike traditional search engines, the Simplexo "unified search" technology is ideally suited to retrieve content from cloud services, social networks and other web resource comprising the "deep web" which is inaccessible to traditional search engine crawlers.
